End of summer soiree at mars resort
Our last summer event of the year and it's another GREAT one!
The End of Summer Soirée is Thursday, September 26th at the ICONIC Mars Resort - W4098 S. Shore Dr. Lake Geneva. We have been wanting to team up with Mars forever and the time has finally come. This incredible venue, just off Lake Como, has great food, an inside & outside bar, their own beach and the best sunsets around. Mars will be fully open for dinner service and will have their excellent menu available. So, if you want to make plans for dinner, consider coming a little early as they do not take reservations. Mars will also have a special Lake Como Cruise for our group onboard their oversized pontoon boat later in the night!
To add to the evenings enjoyment we are fortunate enough to have J. Henry & Sons Distillery joining us for this special occasion. J. Henry's ambassadors will be in the house giving out free samples of their finest hand-crafted Bourbons & Ryes and discussing their famous Wisconsin based company's products with us starting at 6pm.
What a beautiful way to end your summer in style with Mars Resort, J. Henry & Sons Distillery and the Geneva Lakes Whiskey Club!
This is a Free Event. Boat ride is on a first come basis and will probably depart around 8ish.

SPECIAL OCTOBER EVENT!
Drink Bourbon - Save Bosoms!
We have a VERY SPECIAL EVENT to announce as the hits keep on coming for the Geneva Lakes Whiskey Club!
We are hosting our FIRST ANNUAL 'Drink Bourbon - Save Bosoms' event benefiting one special individual each year that is battling breast cancer. I personally have donated to the larger Breast Cancer Charities many times over the years but really where does that money go? If you donate $10k that gets broken up into SO many pieces it barely makes a dent.
So, to have a benefit each year for one special local lady that receives ALL the proceeds can TRULY make a difference in their lives. This year's beneficiary is one of our clubs original members Heather Marie. She has been an advocate for our club since the inception and is battling this terrible disease as we speak. So, she is up first for this annual event we plan to proudly to host for years to come.
The FIRST 'Drink Bourbon - Save Bosoms' will take place on Wednesday, October 16th from 6-8pm at the Historic Maxwell Mansion - 304 S Wells St. Lake Geneva. There will be a HUGE Silent Auction and Raffle plus much more. Each ticket for the raffle will cost $20 or receive 6 for $100, and we are requiring each guest to at purchase at least one ticket upon entry. Items will be anything from local hotel stays to boat charters to dinners to high-end items and everything in between. We are asking YOU GLWC members to PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY to donate something for this special cause. We know a lot of you are business owners or people that have something to donate. It would mean A LOT TO US!
The beautiful Maxwell Mansion will have their Apothecary Bar open with cocktail specials for our group along with live music to make the evening festive. The outside garden will be open as well with fire places keeping us warm and the bocce ball court will be ready for some club competition!
We will also have a special distillery in the house giving out samples of their goods. That is TBA but we are finding a good one for this.
Next year we will be taking applications for our next beneficiary for someone in need and will announce that we are doing so with plenty of time leading up to the next event in 2025.
This is something near and dear to our hearts so please spread the word and lets make this a fun and successful event for Heather and something our club can be proud of!
Years in the making... It's finally here!
We have long been waiting to bring an event this size to our beloved little lake town and we are proud to announce that dream is coming to fruition! Next April 20th and 21st, fellow Whiskey lovers will be able to enjoy an entire weekend of Whiskey festivities that starts with a major event at The Ridge Hotel off Lake Como. There, our guests will be able to sample over 100 premium Whiskies from exclusive distilleries of our club's choosing all while being swept into a Whiskey Drinkin' atmosphere as we are serenaded by Scottish Bagpipes, Irish Dancers and Kentucky Bluegrass Bands! Then, a premium Whiskey pairing dinner followed by a lively Saturday Night party for 'Distinguished Hooligans!' Sunday-Funday festivities will include numerous Whiskey tastings at local establishments in downtown Lake Geneva. A Whiskey Cocktail contest will be in order as well from the best watering holes in town and possibly even a Whiskey sunset cruise on beautiful Geneva Lake! A lot more details coming soon including ticketing, lodging and schedule.
